"From August 2011 to September 2012, Pablo was hired by Burns & McDonnell (through NDE Global Services based in Houston TX) as a Source Inspector for Tower Steel being fabricated by Comemsa in Queretaro Mexico. This was for the PSE&G Susquehanna - Roseland project. Pablo's performance was exceptional as he demonstrated the ability to manage daily inspection activities covering raw steel to welded structures logging over 2500 inspection hours. Pablo provided core expertise for inspections of lattice steel including verification of CNC Hole Punching, Mitering, Drilling, Hot Bending, Galvanizing (ASTM A123), Bundling, Hardware Procurement, Loading & Shipping. Pablo also demonstrated solid NDE skills by performing Visual Inspection and Dye Penetrant Testing on Hot Bend material and evaluating results. He also displayed a strong understanding of AWS D1.1, Welding Procedures, Welder Qualification, Material Test Reports review and Charpy Impact Testing. Pablo also provided safe transportation to many members of the project when they arrived in Mexico form the airport to the work site and to other various places. Pablo attended weekly meeting and communicated regular via phone and email. His expense reporting and invoices were true and accurate. He also is an expert with computer technology and using Inspection Reporting Software called Notevault (Trademarked) www.notevault.com. In addition, his ability to photograph in process fabrications from camera, phone and iPad allowed him to make outstanding reports. Pablo also demonstrated the ability to travel to sub suppliers located in San Luis Potosi and Celaya to assist with production demands and quality control. Pablo's demeanor and character provided him with the ability to be a team player and work well as a liaison between Comemsa, Burns & McDonnell and PSEG. Pablo provided translation assistance during visits while maintaining good business practices. His English is very strong which played a vital role not only in person but also during phone and conference calls. Finally, Pablo has demonstrated managerial skills with the project as well as assigning work for people who reported to him from time to time. This ability has prepared him to perform as a QA/QC Project Manager on site for future projects with a similar scope.
